VISION & PURPOSE

VISION: Investor Relations enables and creates sustainable value for all capital market stakeholders.

PURPOSE: Build and strengthen market confidence in listed and unlisted entities.

OBJECTIVES

As outlined in the AIRA Constitution: 1.2 Objects of the Company:

The company is formed with the object of advancing the awareness of and best practice in investor relations in Australasia and thereby improving the relationship between listed entities and the investment community in one or more of the following ways:

to position itself as the peak body for investor relations professionals;

  • developing a high media profile

  • strong advocacy for IR-related issues in government

  • policy development on disclosure issues

  • significant contributions to industry working parties

  • a united voice for listed companies and IROs on specific investor relations related issues

foster best practice and enhance ethical and professional standards in investor relations;

  • best practice guidelines - Disclosure and Environment, Social and Governance

  • provide forums to exchange views and share experiences

  • annual investor relations conference

  • inclusion of a dedicated AIRA "Linked-In" Network for members through its website

extensive dedicated investor relations professional development and training programs for members;

  • Diploma of Investor Relations

  • Online Certificate of Investor Relations

  • Seminars/luncheon briefings with speakers discussing topical investor relations issues

  • ensure awareness of external investment community issues that could influence internal company decision making

  • establishment of working parties for issues related to investor relations represent the views of members on matters of common interest

  • preparation of submissions to regulatory bodies, regulatory councils and the Government

  • surveys of members to ascertain their views on topical investor relations issues

develop strategic relationships with other industries and related entities;

  • participation on industry working parties

  • member of the Global G5 Investor Relations Network - this group includes the five leading IR associations globally, NIRI, CIRI, IRS, DIRK and AIRA.

act as a united voice for the investor relations community.


CONSTITUTION
